Connecting a bot to Viber

To connect the bot, follow the steps below:

Step 1

Download the official Viber app for your phone: https://www.viber.com/download

Step 2

Create a Viber Public Account: https://account.viber.com/en/create-account

Step 3

Log in to the Viber Admin Panel.
Go to https://partners.viber.com and enter your phone number.



You will receive a Viber message with a code, which you need to enter in the input field.

Step 4

Create a bot account.

Fill out the following form, accept the Terms and Conditions and then click Create Bot Account.

 «Create Bot Account». 

This is a new Viber account associated with your phone number (as an administrator) where the bot will operate.

Step 5

After your account is created you will receive a private token.



Select your bot and go to Integrations on the left navigation panel. Then choose Viber.




Go to Step 5 and enter the token in the field.

Step 6

Viber allows you to customize the greeting message for your bot profile that is shown to users the first time they interact with your bot.
Select your bot and go to Integrations on the left navigation panel. Then choose Viber.




Go to Step 6 enter your message in the field.
