Integrating LiveChat with a bot allows you to add live communication with the agents, so your customer service improves significantly. The following integration requires you to have a LiveChat account.

Step 1

Log in to https://www.livechat.com

If you don’t have a LiveChat account, sign up at https://accounts.livechat.com/signup

Step 2

In the LiveChat Developers Console, go to My Profile and copy the Organization ID.

Paste it into the input field in Step 2 of integration settings.

Step 3

Go to My Apps and create a new app.

Step 4

Move to Building Blocks section.

In the App Authorization block, click the Get started button.

In the Creating the OAuth2.1 Client window, select the Server-side app option, and click the Continue button.

Then you will be sent to the App Authorization settings. Please, do not leave that page until you’ve finished Step 5 of this instruction.

Step 5

In the App Authorization configuration, find the Client Id.

Copy it into the input field.

In the App Authorization configuration, find the Client Secret.

You cannot recover the original Client Secret, so store it in a secure location. Be careful, you won't be able to see the Client Secret after the page reloads. In this case, you will have to generate and provide us a new secret (it will reset the old one).

Go to the Redirect URI whitelist section and Add the following URLs to the list:

Go to the App scopes and API access section and Select All access scopes

Click the Save changes button in the App scopes and API access section.

On the top of the App Authorization page, click the Save changes button to become ready to deploy.

Allow access to your App. Click the Allow Access button to start the quick automated process. Please note that during the process you may be asked to log in to the Live Chat.

Step 6

In your app, navigate to the Building Blocks section, find the Chat Webhooks block and click the Get started button.

Copy the Webhook URL provided below and enter it in the appropriate field in the Chat Webhooks configuration.

Provide us with a Secret Key. Click the Generate button.
